Observation at MRT

Last Friday, I met a mother at MRT station who took her two sons to Taipei Zoo. One is about three years old, and the other is about five years old. They were on their way home, so was I. It's so interesting to observe the way they get along with each other. They kept fighting for the seat which is closer to windows. The older brother are smarter, because he knew many tricks to draw his mother to his side. For example, he gave his lie a proper excuse to rationalize it, though all his behavior is too obvious that every grown-ups can easily differentiate. However, maybe because of brother's action, the mother stand more at the younger one's side, and she tried to maintain the peace between children by threatening, such as won't take they to zoo again or stand until get off the MRT. I did not know the final result who the winner is, but it makes me want to guess if the same situation happened at my family what are our reactions. Was I as mean as the older brother when I was so young? No comment!

Movie Time

Three weeks ago I have seen a great german movie, beyond silence, in my german class. It tells the story about a little girl how to struggle her hard life with her deaf parents. For example, she had to learn reading herself, help her parents to communicate to other people, and take care of her little sister. Once, she found the world of music, and showed a great talent at clarinet. Therefore she decided to chase her dream by studying at music conservatory in Berlin. However, it brought a big quarrel between she and her father. Her father was afraid that he would lose her child, because the world of music is a field he neither can understand, nor join in. Though, the ending of this movie is a little bit sudden and fast, it still describes clearly the common situation happened in many families. Children always have their own idea of doing something, and sometimes it is very difficult for parents to accept. In my opinion, both children and parents should learn to listen to each other and take account of other's thinking. I recommend you sincerely to watch this movie!

Private School

Last time's homework, narrative essay, recalled my experiences in junior and senior high school, which taught me some important lessons. I had a bad performance in my high school entrance exam, so had no choice but to go to a private school. However, it makes a big changes in my life. Through the process of hard studying, I realized I should take responsibility for each of my behavior. Things people had worked hard for or just lied down on the job, will absolutely reflect in the future. Moreover, to my surprise, in our writing class many students had ever studied in a private school, because their parents thought in a private school would have better education and strict rules would stop students from going bad. However, regardless of public schools or private schools, both still have students who pay no attention to study, but bullying or joining in a gang. Therefore, in my opinion, parents and teachers should follow the student closely, when the situation is not suitable for the student, better transfers to another school. I am lucky in my high school years everything went well. Although I don't like my high school, I still appreciate the time, which lets me met a good teacher and couple of friends.

trivial matters

There was nothing special in this week. The weather kept raining and always at a cold temperature, made me feel sleepy. I really missed the sunny days that we had two week ago. However, the semester began only three weeks, but I already have plenty of homework waiting for me to finish them. This is the main reason let me feel depressed. Besides, I also need to start collecting information for my next year in Germany. One the one hand, I look forward to the journey that I will explore in Europe, on the other hand, I am a little bit afraid of struggling everything alone in abroad. Hope the weather would be better and I can accomplish all my work within the next few days.

Changes

I am looking forward to this three-day holiday,not only because of the great weather, but also because of the winter vacation was too short, so that I want to grasp another chance to take a rest. My family and I went flower viewing and tea tasting in Maokong. We were lucky that in Mucha didn't have lots of people like other tourist attractions. I haven't visited this place since I had gone to high school.However, to my sadness, something has changed in the lovely tea shop. The little pond is disappeared, which was fulled of fish and tadpole. It also kept part of my childhood's memories. My brother and I liked to spend time catching these creatures. Besides the price of tasting tea is getting higher and higher. Now only the flowers are as beautiful as formerly. These changes is some kind of traces that proves the time pass away so as I have grown up.
